Hi, I'm Carl Hancock, the founder of Web Design by Carl, and I've been immersed in the world of digital marketing and web development since 2003. With a passion for technology and creativity, I built my first website two decades ago, sparking my journey into the digital realm. Over the years, I've honed my skills and expertise, delving into various industries and mastering the art of online marketing.

After several years of running two complementary health centres, five years running the marketing for a software company, a short stint selling high end sunglasses and even a period doing PR for a government department, I decided to go freelance back in 2012. After seeing the growth of my small business clients I ventured into business ownership, establishing a successful carpet cleaning company in 2013. Through dedication and (a lot of) hard work, I grew the business into one of the largest in South East England, earning a reputation for excellence and reliability. However, the strain of ensuring 13 staff retained their jobs throughout the pandemic led to a reassessment, and in 2021 I made the decision to sell the company and return to freelance work.

As a freelancer, I leverage my extensive experience and knowledge to help businesses thrive in the digital landscape. With a focus on web design and digital marketing, I collaborate with clients to build effective online strategies and create compelling digital experiences. Although I take pride in my impressive portfolio of work that showcases my ability to deliver results-driven solutions that drive business growth and exceed client expectations, what I really take pride in is seeing my clients succeed.
