Web Design:

• Q: What factors do you consider when designing a website?
• A: There are a variety of factors including the types of clients you are targeting, the purpose of the website e.g. lead generation, online business card, Google Ads, but also it's important that you as a business owner are happy with the design.


• Q: How long does it take to design and launch a website?
• A: It depends on my current workload, but normally I aim to get websites live within a week.


• Q: Can you create a custom design that reflects my brand identity?
• A: Yes. Although some templates are available, I prefer building something from scratch that reflects you and your brand.


• Q: Is mobile responsiveness included in your web design services?
• A: Absolutely! Your website will be designed to work on everything from the smallest mobile through to the largest of screens.


• Q: Will I be able to update and manage my website's content myself?
• A: I don't use content management systems (CMS) such as Wordpress as I find them limiting in design options, and can be quite clunky and slow. As such, there is no way for you to update the website yourself, but any and all changes you require you just have to ask me and I'll do them for you at no extra charge.


• Q: Do you provide text and images?
• A: If you have neither then I can dip into my large library of licence free stock images and I take advantages of ever developing AI technology to help in writing the text/content.


• Q: How much does it cost?
• A: Assuming you don't have any special, weird or wonderful requirements, my flat rate for web design, hosting and updates is £30 per month.

Logo Design:

• Q: What information do you need to create a logo for my business?
• A: The more the better as this provides me with some direction. However, at a minimum, the business name and the industry you're in is enough to make a start.


• Q: How many revisions are included in your logo design package?
• A: As many as required.


• Q: What file formats will my logo be delivered in?
• A: I'll provide them in a variety of formats (.jpg, .webp, .png, .eps, .ai) and in a varity of sizes. If you want specific formats or sizes, just ask.


• Q: Can you design a logo that works well in both print and digital formats?
• A: Absolutely, you get this as standard.


• Q: What is the typical turnaround time for logo design projects?
• A: This depends on the number of revisions are required, but normally within a week.

Google Ads:

• Q: How can Google Ads help my business reach its target audience?
• A: Google Ads is an ideal way to get your business right at the top of the Google rankings.


• Q: How do you determine the most effective keywords for my Google Ads campaign?
• A: I initially research the keywords through the Google system as well as competitor research. It's then an ongoing process of seeing what people are searching for and tweaking the keywords accordingly.


• Q: Can you help optimise my Google Ads campaign to improve its performance?
• A: Absolutely, and in fact sometimes it can be very helpful to see what hasn't worked in order to determine what will.


• Q: What metrics do you track to measure the success of Google Ads campaigns?
• A: There's a whole variety of metrics that are used e.g. CTR, CPC etc, but one of the main ones is cost per conversion as this gives a very good idea about ROI.

SEO (Search Engine Optimisation):

• Q: How does SEO benefit my website's visibility on search engines?
• A: The idea of SEO is to get your website to organically rank higher in Google


• Q: What SEO strategies do you employ to improve my website's ranking?
• A: I use both on-page and off-page SEO. On-page SEO includes optimising your web pages through content, meta tags, headings, images, and URLs. On-page SEO also involves improving site speed, mobile-friendliness, internal linking structure, and ensuring the website provides a positive user experience. Off-page SEO refers to the actions taken outside of the website to enhance its search engine rankings and increase its authority and credibility. This primarily involves building backlinks (links from other websites to your site) from reputable and relevant sources.


• Q: How long does it take to see results from SEO efforts?
• A: The million dollar question! This really depends on the industry you're in, the level of competition and what you'd like to be higher in Google for. You'll need to ask me directly.


• Q: Do you provide regular reports to track the progress of SEO campaigns?
• A: I send through monthly reports.


• Q: Can you guarantee to get me to the top of Google?
• A: No! With Google there are never any guarantees, and any one who does guarantee it should be given a wide berth.

• Q: Do you specialise in specific industries or work with businesses of all sizes?
• A: I have particular expertise in SMEs (small to medium enterprises).


• Q: Can you analyse my current marketing efforts and suggest improvements?
• A: Yes. To see what you've already done and thus what's worked and what's not can be very insightful.


• Q: Can you provide ongoing support and adjustments to the marketing strategy as needed?
• A: Absolutely.
